Christmas treeChristmas in July/August!

We will be helping Tilles Elementary School and Darby Junior High School with their school supplies.
Look for the Christmas trees in the Narthex area, 2nd floor children’s area, and in the Family Life Center that will be adorned with school supply ornaments. These schools and our neighbors are very appreciative of FUMC’s support and help with school supplies.

Graffiti Removal graffiti

First UMC is teaming up with other Methodists churches in our area and the City of Fort Smith to help home owners with the removal of graffiti from their property. The necessary equipment for this ministry has been supplied through a grant from the FUMC foundation and now we need volunteers to help. This ministry will take place on a needs basis and generally takes a couple of hours to remove or to paint over the graffiti. If you would be interested in being a part of this outreach ministry, contact Janice at the office, 782-5068 or email jsudbrink@fsfumc.org
