The Bridge Campus Ministrychocolate covered pecans
still has some pecans left. . .

We have lots of milk chocolate covered and a few
pecan caramel chocolate clusters.
They are on sale for $7.00 a bag.
If you would like to purchase some, please contact Rev. Clare Caldwell.
Thank you to all who already purchased pecans.
The Bridge took seven people (five students and two leaders) to the Passion Conference in Atlanta, Georgia the week of January 2-5. It was an amazing time to
see that God is still working in the lives of college students.
There were 43,000 students at the Georgia Dome and another 40,000 people watching the conference live on the internet. We learned about the human slavery/trafficking issues in our country as well as others. All together, college students and leaders gave
over three million dollars to end human slavery today! Our students are learning how God can use them now!
Your continued support and love of college
students will continue to further God’s work in future
generations of Christians.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITYFamily room

The new Ronald McDonald Family Room located in St. Edward’s Hospital, is opening the first of December. First UMC has the opportunity to provide a meal, once a month, to the families while their child is in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit.
If you are interested in being a part of this ministry, call Janice at the church office (782-5068). We will provide a meal for about 20 people once a month. We will need five people a month to be a part of the meal preparation, salad, main dish, two sides dishes and dessert.

Graffiti Removal
graffiti

First UMC is teaming up with other Methodists churches in our area and the City of Fort Smith to help home owners with the removal of graffiti from their property. The necessary equipment for this ministry has been supplied through a grant from the FUMC foundation and now we need volunteers to help. This ministry will take place on a needs basis and generally takes a couple of hours to remove or to paint over the graffiti. If you would be interested in being a part of this outreach ministry, contact Janice at the office, 782-5068 or email jsudbrink@fsfumc.org
