PACESETTERS

The name says it all! This is a "senior" group that meets the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month - all year long, and also takes a FALL Foliage, a SPRING Fling and a CHRISTMAS lights trip during the year. The Parish Nurse starts the times together by doing free blood pressure checks at 9:15a.m. and then the meeting starts at 10:00a.m. with singing, prayer time, Devotional and once a month the children from our Day School perform for us. The church cooks prepare lunch (you don't have to make a reservation!) for $2.00. A variety of programs are shared by outside speakers and resource persons. This group has widows, widowers and couples and definitely "SET THE PACE!" Call the church office (782-5068) or 479-632-5822 (McClurkins) for more information.
