The United Methodist Women of First Church are part of the world's largest women's organization. The group's purpose is "To know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; To develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church."

The UMW meets as a whole once a month, and each member meets with her sub-group monthly also. Sub-groups stress Bible study, mission education, spiritual growth, current issues and social action. UMW also greatly supports the missions work of the church.

“Naomi” will meet at 10:00 a.m.
“Rebekah” will meet at 10:00 a.m.
“Deborah” will meet at 10:00 a.m.
“Ruth” will meet at 10:00 a.m. in Room 101 of the Family Life Center
“Elizabeth” will meet at 1:30 p.m. in Room M105.
“Hannah” will meet at Willowbrook at 10:00 a.m.
"Mary" will meet at 7:30 p.m.

Ordinary Women sub-group

invite you to meet with them. They meet on the second Sunday of each month beginning in September. Ordinary Women sub-group meets at 5:00p.m. in the Narthex Conference Room .
