Arkansas Rice Depot Diaster on Relief
We Need Your Help!
The United Methodist Church Arkansas Rice Depot Disaster on Relief has been delivering supplies to the storm weary areas of Arkansas, Tennessee and Oklahoma. Over 7000 pounds of supplies have helped 250 families who have lost almost everything.
Our supplies have been depleted and we need to restock.
Here is how you can help!
Children’s Disaster Kits
1 coloring book
1 box of colored pencils
1 Storybook (about feelings)
2 small toy vehicles
(emergency vehicles police cars, fire trucks, etc.)
1 soft cuddly stuffed toy
Place all items in a large zip-lock bag
Cleaning Buckets
5 gallon bucket with lid
1 scrub brush
18 cleaning towels (reusable)
7 Sponges, assorted sizes
Laundry Detergent 50 oz.
Disinfectant dish soap 28 oz.
50 clothespins
Clothesline 100 ft. x 3/16”
5 Dust Masks
Latex Gloves 2 pair
Work gloves 1 pair
Trash bags 45 gal 24/roll
Insect spray 14 oz.
Air Freshener 9 oz.
Place all items in buckets and seal the lids with duct tape
Don’t have time to assemble kits yet still want to help?
You can give monetary donations to FSFUMC with the line item indicating “Rice Depot” and can be dropped in the offering plate, mailed to the church, or to the church office.
We will do the work of purchasing and filling the kits!
