United Women in FaithPURPOSE: The organized unit of United Women in Faith shall be a community of women whose purpose it to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
FSFUMC has five active circles that make up the Unit of United Women in Faith that represent our church. All circles meet the second Tuesday of the month. Night circle regularly meets at the home of Margaret Thompson, while day circle meeting locations are announced in the newsletter each month. All members of UWF meet at least quarterly for a program with a guest speaker and shared meal in the Family Life Center Fireside Room. PACESETTERSThe name says it all! This is a "senior" group that meets the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month - all year long, at 10am in the Fireside Room of the Family Life Center.
The group also has special trips during the year such as: a FALL Foliage trip, a SPRING Fling and a CHRISTMAS lights trip. The group begins at 10am with singing, prayer time, devotional, local program speakers. A great lunch is served at 11:30am for only $5.
