The Weekday School has been providing quality early childhood education for the past 67 years. Our school is an important ministry of our church and an outreach to the community.

The WDS prides itself on hiring qualified educators. Children are nurtured, loved and educated by a staff who is highly trained in Early Childhood education and continues to grow by attending ongoing training.
We are Quality Approved by the state of Arkansas and are licensed by the Arkansas Department of Human Services. We hope these endorsements provide confidence to parents when choosing a preschool for their children.

WDS Mission Statement

First United Methodist Weekday School exists to provide quality Early Childhood Education.
Developmentally appropriate experiences are offered in our preschool and Kindergarten classes to allow children to grow socially, emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually, while being surrounded in a nurturing Christ-centered environment.

Hours and Tuition

We offer preschool classes for
three and four-year-olds, as well as a half-day kindergarten class.

Hours of Operation

Infants & Toddlers 8:45 am - 2:15 pm
Preschool 8:45 am - 12:00 pm
Kindergarten 8:15 am - 12:00 pm
​Extended Day until 12:00 pm - 2:15 pm / Lunch Bunch

Each day we also offer:

*Early Morning Care 7:30-8:45 am $5 a day
*Lunch Bunch 12:00-2:15 pm $10 a day

Tuition

Preschool
Mon/Wed/Fri 3 year-olds $250/month
Mon/Wed/Fri 4 year-olds $250/month
5 day 4 year-olds $290/month
5 day 3 year-olds $290/month
Kindergarten $325/month
Infant/Toddler
Tuition rates for 3 months through 2 1/2 years
is based on number of days a week they attend. 
 3 days $295/month
5 days $425/month 
 
A supply fee equal to one month’s tuition is due at the time of registration.
This is a non-refundable fee. 

Extras

Chapel - Weekly, children enjoy Bible stories, lessons, and singing in Roebuck Chapel.
Music - Once a week children enjoy a fun, energetic music class.
Science -  “Quirkles” once a week the children enjoy a story and science experiment.

Enrollment Policy

Enrollment priority will be given to children presently attending our school, and then to church members.  Registration will be accepted in the order they are received.  Registration will begin in February.  For a registration packet please contact the Weekday School Director. 

Kindergarten Enrichment

This consists of special field trips for Kindergarten students, planned to open the eyes of children to the exciting world around them.
