Serve in Local Missions
Whether preparing and distributing meals to the community,
using your craft to make something or being behind the scenes,
there are plenty of opportunities for you to make a difference!

Last Sunday BreakfastOn the last Sunday of each month, the Chapel Class, together with dedicated volunteers, hosts a community breakfast open to all. A hot meal is served beginning at 8:30 a.m., accompanied by a brief time of devotional reflection shared during breakfast.
Volunteers faithfully serve by preparing food, welcoming guests, and providing a warm and caring environment. This ministry offers both nourishment and fellowship, reflecting our commitment to loving and serving our neighbors. |
Local School PartnershipsThroughout the year, our School Support Team partners with local schools to provide school supplies, teacher appreciation lunches, mentorship programs, and more. Our primary focus is on Tilles Elementary and Darby Middle School, both located within our neighborhood.
By serving with this team, you can help us encourage, support, and show appreciation to the educators and staff who invest daily in the lives of our community’s children. |
Neighborhood Eats
Neighborhood Eats is our monthly free grocery program, open to anyone in the community. Each month, families receive a selection of staple pantry items, dairy products, meat, and more to help meet their household needs.
In November, the team also prepares special Thanksgiving food bags to ensure families can enjoy a holiday meal together. This ministry is one of the many ways we seek to care for and support our neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

FSPD Food Patrol
Every month we provide sack lunches for the Fort Smith Police Department to distribute in the community. Volunteer with our local law enforcement to reach and impact families in the community. You can serve on the committee by preparing brown bag lunches. They meet every month on the 4th Wednesday in the Aldersgate Classroom at 10:00 am.
Casserole Ministry
Nothing says love like a great casserole to feed your family in time of need. Two casserole groups meet to prepare these meals. We partner with social workers, The Call, Community Services Clearinghouse, Community Rescue Mission, The Salvation Army, and others when needs arise. Volunteer by joining a casserole group to assemble meals for distribution. Casserole groups meet every month on the 2nd Wednesday and the 3rd Thursday in the Aldersgate Classroom at 10:00 am.
Prom Closet
Each March, we open our Prom Closet to any student in need of formal attire. All items are provided free of charge, and donations of formal wear are accepted throughout the year. Our collection includes dresses, suits, shoes, jewelry, and accessories, offering a wide variety of styles and sizes.
We strive to create a comfortable and enjoyable shopping experience for every student. Those in need of formal wear at other times of the year are also welcome to reach out.
To schedule a visit or learn more about the Prom Closet, please contact Tiffany Pierce at [email protected]
